Connect, Collaborate and Code!

We provide occasional meetings for Acorn machine owners at the Falkirk Business Hub. Watch out for event announcements here on the home page or at the Stardot ABUG events subforum

This is an informal gathering for…

  • Show and Tell: Bring your own Acorn machine hardware to display and discuss with others.
  • Collaborative Working: Spend time on hardware, programming, or gaming projects.
  • Knowledge Exchange: Share ideas, insights, and skills with other enthusiasts.
  • Advice on Repair and Upgrade: Reviving poorly Acorn machines.
  • Socialize and Enjoy: There’s a kitchen which we can utilise for coffee, tea and biscuits. We’re in the town centre for plenty of bars, pubs and restaurants for any potential afterwards gatherings.

All Are Welcome:
While the event tends be Acorn-centric, we welcome enthusiasts of other retro machines as well. We’re also happy for Raspberry PI users to join us and share their projects. We have an interest in practical applications for these retro machines, programming projects and hardware restoration, rather than just pure gaming.
