This is a relaxed, hands-on day for anyone actively enjoying retro computing \u2014 whether you\u2019re repairing old machines, experimenting with code, upgrading hardware, or simply proud of a setup you want to share.<\/p>\n

Important Registration Note<\/h3>\n

Payment for your participation of this retro event is now done as individuals at the Falkirk Business Hub<\/a> reception on the event day<\/strong>. You register here<\/strong> on this website as to your intent of coming, but pay on the day at reception. The normal price is \u00a310 (+VAT) per 4 hours of a desk rental in the co-working space (the space that is normally used for I.T. Crowd gatherings), but you will have a 10% discount on this. So you may pay for the whole day (09:00am to 17:00pm) or for a four hour block (I recommend the former).<\/p>\n

    Team up with others to explore ideas, troubleshoot issues, or dive into shared coding or hardware challenges.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Shared Knowledge & Experience<\/strong>
    Swap tips, discoveries, and hard-earned lessons with people who genuinely enjoy this era of computing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Repair & Upgrade Advice<\/strong>
    Informal help and guidance on diagnosing problems or improving performance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be available throughout the day, with lunch options at the on-site Finnegans Caf\u00e9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Everyone Welcome<\/h3>\n

    This is an open, platform-agnostic event. While Acorn systems are very much at home here, we warmly welcome enthusiasts of Sinclair, Atari, Commodore, Amstrad, Apple<\/strong>, and other classic machines. If you enjoy retro tech, you\u2019ll fit right in.<\/p>\n

    The venue is just a two-minute walk from Grahamston Train Station<\/strong> and easily accessed from the M9<\/strong>. Full lift access and disabled facilities are available. After the event, Falkirk offers plenty of nearby bars and restaurants for those who want to continue chatting into the evening.<\/p>\n
